A little snow goes a long way.

We lucked out and recieved a great deal of snow this season. In fact, this is the closest to a normal snow fall that I have seen for a couple of years. The last time I remember getting ‘normal’ snowfall was in the 01-02 snow season. Oh the memories, I was riding the second love of my life…my 1998 Polaris 700 RMK 136″. With a few mods, my sled purred like a kitten and pulled like an Ox (remember, we are talking 2001). Ryan Searle and I were living in Island Park, Idaho and West Yellowstone, Montana and you know we were living it up…! (more…)

Racer Arie Luyendyk talks Spyder in Indy.

BRP recently teamed up with two-time Indianapolis 500 champion Arie Luyendyk for a daylong media tour in and around famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Luyendyk conducted 17 total interviews, continually reinforcing how much he loves the Spyder’s unique design, performance and handling. Click here to view an interview that aired on ESPN’s HotList. Idaho BLM to host Open House on New Resource Management Plan.

Dear Outdoor Enthusiasts and Idaho Residents:

IDAHO BLM TO HOST OPEN HOUSE ON NEW RESOURCE MANGEMENT PLAN
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Idaho Falls District, is preparing a new Resource Management Plan (RMP) for the Upper Snake Field Office (FO) in southeastern Idaho. The Upper Snake RMP will cover the planning areas currently managed under three management framework plans (MFPs) and one RMP: the Big Desert MFP (1981), Big Lost MacKay MFP (1983), Little Lost/Birch Creek MFP (1985), and the Medicine Lodge RMP (1985). The Upper Snake RMP will replace these four land use plans, resulting in a single RMP for the entire Upper Snake FO. (more…)
