All four snowmobile manufacturers have released their new 2010 snowmobile models. Each mfg is boasting weight savings, improved suspensions and over all handling and comfort. One new release is Polaris’ new Rush model sporting a new out-of-the-ordinary rear supension. A couple of the manufacturer’s have really focused on their freestyle models that were introduced last year. Polaris and Arctic Cat have improved their suspensions, tracks and graphics among other things.

The Manufacturers’ Sneak Peak is coming to Sandy, Utah in just a few days. Sandy, Utah is just south of Salt Lake City, Utah. On March 23, enjoy comparing the new snowmobiles, new clothing and see all those awesome snowmobile friends we get to chat with every year. Everyone knows that Utah is home of the “Greatest Snow on Earth”. This year is no exception, keep your eye on the weather and if the weather has cooperated, you woudl be in for some great riding. Went riding November 18th up to Monte Cristo. It was great. First time I’ve road the area and was extremely suprised as to the vast acrea of riding area available. Once there is some good snow fall there would be no way to cover all the areas. Just to much would have to take 25 gals of gas. Luckily they still had the road open so we were able to go in a good distance before dropping and get into some untouch areas. Was able to find out how much I’m going to enjoy my new sled. It really performs and climbs like a raped ape. Here are some photos.

Naturally, Friday night I found myself in a mad scramble to get my sled pre-seasoned for the morning ride. The excitement was uncontainable as we loaded the sled in the truck around midnight. Sure enough, too much midnight oil used, meant difficulty waking up. I would have been ok if I had not underestimated my travel time. Luckily the group I was going with was pretty understanding, they decided they would grab a bite to eat while they were waiting. We met up, got done eating and were on our way to the Monte Cristo Area. (more…)
