We’ve all been there. Beautiful sunny day, 2 feet of powder, just you, your buddies, your snowmobile and the mountains. A day you could die for. Only problem is how are you going to enjoy the full day. You know your sled will only get 2 miles to the gallon if your lucky on a day like that. So what do you do? Find the guy whose sled has the biggest gas rack and pack him full of extra fuel. Find the next guy and do the same. Until you run out of bungees, gas cans and gas racks. Down side is it took you 45 mins just to attach the extra gas cans, you aren’t sure they will even stay on the sleds with as loose as the bungees are. If that isn’t the worst part you have to stop every 20 mins just to re-attach the cans that have fallen off. A headache you don’t want to deal with, but if you don’t your greatest snow day is cut short. So what’s the Solution?

The boys down at Mountain Addiction have figured it out. No need for bungee cords, no need for a big bulky rack on the back of your sled, no need to spend 45 minutes attaching cans, and no more picking up cans on the side of the trail that have fallen off. Mountain Addiction has come up with a very sleek, clean, and effective way to carry extra fuel on the back of your sled. This new system that could change the way you think about carrying extra fuel is called “Track Rack (TM)”. This new system to carry gas on the back of you snowmobile will take all your headaches away.

How It Works
The “Track Rack (TM)” system uses specially designed fuel jugs that slide on and off of a rail system that you attach to your sled, trailer, atv or basically anywhere you have enough room to put the rails and screw them down. I know first thought that comes to mind is plastic on a rail system….how long is that going to last. Well Mountain Addiction doesn’t just use your average everyday fuel jug. They have special heavy-duty fuel jugs made specifically for this purpose. No worries about the plastic giving way and loosing your extra fuel. In fact if you wanted to you could even pick up the back of your sled by the jugs while they are on the rail system. That’s how tough this system really is.

Installation
Basically you attach the rails to the tunnel…you can go parallel or perpendicular to the tunnel. The rails just need to be mounted the correct distance so the jugs will slide on. Also make sure you don’t drill into your heat exchangers, could cause serious problems. Once the rails are on you are good to go. Slide the jugs on to the rails, this will take some good force. Fill them up and you are set with extra fuel on your sled that you can feel safe is not going anywhere. It only takes a moment to slide the jugs on and off so the hassle of dealing with bungees is no longer there.

Options
Oh, and there are options. You can go with either a one, two or three can rack system. You can choose from a variety of colors. They even have a large option for carrying large fuel jugs on your trailer or in the bed of your truck. The jug sizes are Small (1.3 Gallons) for you snowmobile, or Large (5 Gallons) for that wide load.

The small rail system in which you can put up to two small cans on retails for $28.00. The large rails which you can carry up to 3 of the small cans retails for $32.00. The small (1.3 gallon) cans retail for $28.00/ea. and the large (5 gallon) cans retail for $45.00/ea. The cans come in Blue, Orange, Red, Yellow, White, and Green. Choose your combination and order them now.

Of course Mountain Addiction thinks there product is the best, but what do others have to say.
